Interviewer: Your first house that you lived in, what was it like?
Orson Clark: In the east side of the old Rock House where I was raised there were two rooms that my folks let us use.
Interviewer: Then you said you went to Salt Lake after two years? Where did you live while you were going to school in Salt Lake?
Orson Clark: On Third South and Ninth East most of the time. There were two different places not far from each other.
Interviewer: Was this an apartment?
Orson Clark: One of the places was an apartment, the other place was a full house. The wife took in renters while I went to school to help pay the bills.
Interviewer: Now let's get to the children you have. How many children did you and your wife have?
Orson Clark: Six. Three girls and three boys.
Interviewer: What are their names?
Orson Clark: Ruth, Naoma, Orson Merrill, Ralph Barlow, Gordon Truman, and Lucille.
Interviewer: Now did all of your children live through their teen-age years?
Orson Clark: They are all still alive and married and have families.
Interviewer: Your father and mother were already members of the church when you were born so you were raised in the church, is that right?
Orson Clark: Yes.
Interviewer: As you were being raised in the church, what were your thinkings about the church and what did you do in the church as you were growing up?
Orson Clark: I think I held an office in nearly every organization except the Relief Society. I was in the Sunday School, M.I.A., I taught Primary and the old religion class.
Interviewer: What job did you find the most interesting and rewarding for you?
Orson Clark: They were all work. I think the one that was most
