Orson Clark: Then I went to Montpelier.

Interviewer: Why did you leave Sunnyside?

Orson Clark: Well, they didn't need me. No, I didn't either. The principal there was moving over into Wyoming, wasn't it? Anyway, he wanted me to go with him.

Lucille Clark: Was it Mountain Home. Around Mountain View. Mountain Home is up in Idaho.

Ruth Knowlton: Mountain View is north of Manti. Is that the one?

Orson Clark: No, this is in Wyoming.

Interviewer: Where is this located at?

Lucille Clark: It is west of Lyman.

Interviewer: How large a town was it then?

Orson Clark: Very small.

Interviewer: What did you teach there?

Orson Clark: Well, physics and chemistry and a lot of stuff.

Interviewer: You taught all the subjects again. What grade did you teach in Mountain View?

Orson Clark: Oh what was it? It was classes. Anyway, they said to me, "You just go in there and anything you need in equipment or the like, order it. You can have it."

Interviewer: I would like to be able to do that.

Orson Clark: I had only been there a month or two and I made a trip home. I went up alone, you see.

Lucille Clark: Well, you had to live in the hotel.

Orson Clark: There was no place to live.

Lucille Clark: They had to eat all their meals in the hotel. I didn't go because we had a new baby.

Orson Clark: All the teachers over there had to live in the hotel. It was a mess.

Interviewer: Is that a ranching town or a farming town?
