Blanche Clark Wilcox —
FARMINGTON—Blanche Clark Wilcox, 93, died
March 410, 1997 in Bountiful, Utah of causes inci-
dent to age.
She was bom October 27, 1903 in Auburn, Wy-
oming, the 441th of 13 children bom to Hyrum
Don Carlos and Ann Eliza Porter Clark. At age 5,
she moved with her family to Farmington. She
graduated from Davis High School and attend-
ed Utah State Agricultural College. She married
Clyde H. Wilcox December 17, 1925 in the Salt |
Lake LDS Temple. He died February 21, 1976. |
Blanche and Clyde raised eight children, all of
whom helped tun the dairy farm in South Farm-
ington. She lived a full life and enjoyed all of
God's creations. She will be known for her faith,
courage, defermination and endurance; and
for her influence on her children, grandchildren
and great-grandchildren. Her greatest treasure
was her family.
Member of the LDS Church where she served |
in many positions in the Relief Society, Sunday
School and Primary. She knew the scriptures and
was Oy a defender of truth and honesty.
Survived by her sons, Leo (Rosemary), Harlow
(Earlene), Farmington; Cordell (Judy), Ralph (Bri-
itte), Bountiful; and Winn on Provo; daugh-
fers, Lugean (Russell) Walpole, Spanish Fork
Canyon; D. Anne Manning, Burbank, Califomia;
and Chanlynn (Dr. H. James) Clark, Boise, Idaho;
54 grandchildren, 124 Se ara two
brothers, ey (Anita) Clark, Myrtle Creek, Ore-
gon and Carlos (Audrey) Ciark, Farmington.
She was preceded in death by her husband,
Clyde; 11 brothers and sisters, one son-in-law,
Richard C. Manning and one great-grand- |
daughter, Jennifer Johnson. __
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 414, |
4997 at 14 a.m. in the Farmington Rock Chapel,
272 North Main, Farmington. Friends may call at |
Bountiful Lindquist Mortuary, 727 North 400 East,
Bountiful, Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
and at the Rock Chanel nne hour nrior tn car.
