Monday - Jan. 27, 1919 fair

These are‘ days that I enjoy very much and Bro. Heywood, Sister Lau, Lause and myself are just like one family it seems ard we enjoy the few days that we are here together in Kalopa very much. It is such a contrast to the rest of the places in Hamakua and to our living in the other Branches that we take our stay her in Kalopa as a sort of a vacaétion, not that we lay off on the work at
all, but that it is such a contrast and change to the rest of the work and it is so nice to associate with real Saints that we can't help but enjoy it.

Tuesday - Thursday Jan. 28-30, 1919

We are still here in Kalopa and doing about the same as ever. I am getting tobe quite a dishwasher now and if I am a Missionary very much longer I will soon be a "Jack of all Trades". Sometimes we spend our time in the house studying while at other times we go out and do a little work on the garden for exercise. This is “home" and I take a lot of pride in it as it is almost "Home Sweet Home" to me now.
