Orson Clark-11/23/81 - Pg 12
Orson Clark: Well, I have just forgotten the name of the people.
Interviewer: That was about the size of it in terms of business and stores in Farmington at that time?
Orson Clark: That was about it.
Interviewer: Was there a hotel here at that time?
Orson Clark: It's a big two-story.
Lucille Clark: It's still there.
Interviewer: I saw the sign up there. I have seen it several times. Who owned those?
Orson Clark: I don't know who owned those.
Interviewer: Hay was a major cash crop for the farmers at the time then?
Lucille Clark: Listen, I'll bet you will get a lot of information from that book that Margaret Hess compiled. She got a lot of this.
Interviewer: I haven't seen her book. I would like to look at it very much.
Lucille Clark: We've got one somewhere.
Interviewer: How old were you when you first went to school?
Orson Clark: Oh, I guess I was along about six years old. Six or seven.
Ruth Knowlton: What was the school like when you went to school.
Orson Clark: I've got a picture of it. Should I show that to you.
Interviewer: Yes, I would like to see it. Where was your school located, now?
Orson Clark: That was located up here between Main and First West on the south side of the road.
