Orson Clark: Yes.

Interviewer: When were they born?

Orson Clark: My father was born on the 7th of April, 1859. My mother was born on the 22nd day of March, 1861.

Interviewer: Did they reside in Farmington all of their lives or did they go other places?

Orson Clark: Farmington was their home but there were time when they went to Idaho where they owned agricultural property. They were there for short periods of time.

Interviewer: Where about in Idaho was that?

Orson Clark: Georgetown. They homesteaded some property there.

Interviewer: Do you happen to know what years those were?

Orson Clark: No, I do not.

Interviewer: What was the educational background of your father and mother?

Orson Clark: My father went through the grade schools and he went two years to the University of Deseret, which is now University of Utah. Then he taught school for two years before farming.

Interviewer: Now on your father, what kind of school building did he go to during his grade school time?

Orson Clark: Just an old adobe building.

Interviewer: Did it have a lot of rooms or just one room?

Orson Clark: I don't know the number of rooms, I think only one. It was small.

Interviewer: How many grades were in that elementary school?

Orson Clark: I don't know.

Interviewer: Then after that, did they have any junior high or high school then?

Orson Clark: No, there was just the one. What we would call nowadays an elementary school. Then they went on to University of Deseret.

Interviewer: Do you know what courses he took at the University
