George Amasa Clark, 79, 253 Belmont Ave. (955 So.), died Sunday at 12:30 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital after a long illness.
Born July 29, 1885, Farmington, to Timothy Baldwin and Lucy A. Rice Clark.
Married Eunice Thompson Sept. 15, 1910, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Served LDS mission, Ireland, 1912-1914, High priest, Harvard LDS Ward. Member Carpenters Union.
Survivors: widow; daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (fan) Nelson, Mrs. Wayne (Shirley) Glaus, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Therel (Jerrilin) Black, Logan; Mrs. William (Joyce) Riches, Fresno, Calif.; sons, Blaine R., Sacramento, Calif.; M. Tom, Elko, Nev.; Cat. Don Alvin, U.S. Air Force, Oahu, Hawaii; 22 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Ellen Henderson, New York; Mrs. J. R. (Lera) Maughan, Bountiful.
Funeral Wednesday 11 a.m., Harvard LDS Ward Chapel, 1021-2nd East. Friends call 255-2nd East Tuesday 6-8 p.m., chapel Wednesday 9:45-10:45 a.m.
