TRIBUTE

My grandpa rode tall in the saddle.  Actually, he was not a very tall man, but in the eyes of a small child, Wilford Woodruff Clark astride his black stallion was indeed a very tall man.

Now, twenty years since the death of this patriarch of Springdale Farm, it is appropriate that we, as his loved ones, pay honor in commemoration to this great American.  How relevant to make it during the Bicentennial year!

(Tribute to Wilford Woodruff Clark, given at the annual reunion of Ezra Thompson Clark Family Organization at Farmington, Utah, City Park on Saturday, 12 June 1976.)
