link up your families. I do know that there are lots of records that are not being utilized, that are not being found and the church has got access to them. They are working on it. This program also helps to encourage them to continue to try to get church records from other churches and to find these records and film them and so on.

Orson Clark: That's what they need is to get those. Now, you take with the Clarks, you see we had Mrs. Weeks engaged there for several years. Followed up by Jackson for a few years. They had got back to pretty nearly as far as they economically could. In other words, the cost to get any more.

Ruth Knowlton: They were far enough that they had run out of any available records.

Orson Clark: That's the thing, you see.

Ruth Knowlton: Hadn't they gotten into the Cromwell period? It seems to me that was when they started having difficulties.

Orson Clark: I don't know at all. Did you ever get a list of those sheets that Jackson had?

Ruth Knowlton: Yes. You remember under Russell, they said that we could have copies of them if we would send in money? So Clark and I did and I have got a volume there of all of the sheets that Jackson sent us.

Orson Clark: What Jackson claims that he did, was to go back even with Mrs. Weeks' work and compile a group sheet of every one that Mrs. Weeks and Jackson did. That made a good volume. It sold for $20.

Ruth Knowlton: I got one of those. It was a poor copy that I got, though. It wasn't a good xerox copy.

Orson Clark: I can see from those where the work could be done. That is, in going through those sheets they are not all complete. There might be the name and maybe one or two parents. But you see, it could be taken back and at least finished. You would have those names that were there.

Ruth Knowlton: This is what my mother has tried to do. Her two sisters were genealogists in the family before she was. What she did was take their work and fill in, make sure she had all the children of that particular family group. And make sure she had all of the dates. You know, this is time consuming work proving everything and making sure.

Interviewer: You've been doing part of it.
