Orson Clark: They seem to enjoy having us come.

Interviewer: You got quite involved in genealogy though, didn't you?

Orson Clark: I was doing that all the time while I was doing these other things.

Interviewer: Even while you were farming?

Orson Clark: Yes. That was kind of on the side.

Interviewer: Your hobby?

Orson Clark: Yes.

Interviewer: Were there other Clarks who were involved in genealogy during the period when you were?

Orson Clark: Only for their own, as far as I know.

Interviewer: None for the family group as a whole?

Orson Clark: No.

Interviewer: What state did you find the Ezra T. Clark Family Association when you came back to Farmington?

Orson Clark: As I remember, you father was the president of it. He is the one that revived it. You see, it was organized clear back before Ezra T. died. There were the three people, Joseph, Eddie, and I believe Amasa. They were the three on the committee. it had pretty well died out until your father got a hold of it. He got the thing going again. I don't know what's going to happen to it now.

Interviewer: There are some decisions that have to be made down the road.

Ruth Knowlton: There are certain factors in the group who would like to just dissolve it.

Interviewer: They would like to have it meet every five years or four years and have the individual families meet. But when that first was circulated, it was not well received by most of the senior people in the family association. So I suggested you wait until our generation passes into your generation and then you decide what you want.

Orson Clark: Well, if they will organize. Some of them are. We have our organization. Uncle Hyrum has an organization. I don't know but I think Uncle Wilford does.
