Dear father + Mother brothers + Sister

I take this favorable opportunity to write to you I am well + have been ever since I came here + I hope this will find you all the same. the Country suits me first rate as it is a good deal in the Country that I travailed, there is not much meetings of the saints in this conference now only on sundays we have night meeting at Worcester in the week; but there is not so many saints here as I expected to find consequently our meetings are very small we hold them in Private houses at the present time throughout the Conference but meetings will be larger in a week or two as it is so busy with the People here at the present time picking hopps which are very numerous this year; I have enjoyed myself verry [very] well so far + expect to Conduct myself so that I can have the pleasure of having a Concience [Conscience] clear of offence [offense] toward all men, but we all have to be faithful at all times to lean on the sure track to Salvation, but I mean to be faithful + with the help of the Lord to do all the good I can but things do not look verry [very] flattering for bringing many to the knowledge of the Truth, it seems that they have all been brought in that will until they look at the Truth in a little different light from what they now do they rely too much on what they hear from other sources + seem satisfied with what they hear from newspapers which is not often in our favor but nI need not look for it to be different for Christ said that as the days of Noah were so also shall the Coming of the son of man be + it will be verrily [verily] so […] they are verry [very] fine looking men here in Worcester larger as a whole than I have seen since I left home ( I mean in the cities) the Policemen are verry [very] large men they dress very fine + have a handfull [handful] of whiskers on each side of the chins. there is some disturbance now in Ireland but not much I think there has been one or two verry [very] heavy fires in the Country places or at the farm houses of some of the farmers they seem to be
