Interviewer: Where were you born, Orson?

Orson Clark: In Farmington.

Interviewer: What year?

Orson Clark: The year? 1898.

Interviewer: And your father's name was?

Orson Clark: Edward Barrett Clark.

Interviewer: And your mother's name?

Orson Clark: Wealthy Richards Clark.

Interviewer: Where were your parents born?

Orson Clark: Both of them were born in Farmington.

Interviewer: So then you would be the third generation in Farmington. Where you born in Farmington?

Orson Clark: The location of the.house, do you want that? The location of the house is 111 North Main Street.

Interviewer: And what position did you occupy in the family?

Orson Clark: I was born at that address. I was at about the age of four when my folks moved down to what we called the Rock House.

Interviewer: That's the one across the street. That is where I was raised.

Interviewer: What was the address of that? Do you remember the address?

Orson Clark: Yes. What was it? I think it is 368, she'll look it up.

Interviewer: How many Clarks still live on the street here?

Ruth Knowlton: As of right now, ·1981. [not sure if this is  an accurate response to the interviewer's question…it was probably a comment made in the background?]

Orson Clark: I think there are only two by the name of Clark that live on this street. Would you like to know something about the early history?

Interviewer: Yes I would, very much.
