Clara Clark Norr

    Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Clark Norr, 72, will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the Salt Lake First Ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 760 Eighth East St.

    Mrs. Norr, long active in Church work, died Thursday evening at her home, 848 Green St., of a heart ailment.

    A daughter of Timothy B. and Lucy A. Rice Clark, she was born Oct. 20, 1879, in Farmington. On Feb. 24, 1909, she was married to Edmund Norr in the Logan Temple.

    For many years, Mrs. Norr served in the Primary Association and Relief Society and was active as a temple worker. At the time of her death, she was a member of the Salt Lake First Ward.

    Mrs. Norr was also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

    Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Vaughn and Melvin Norr, both of Salt Lake City and Ross Norr, Brigham City; six daughters, Mrs. Hazel Johns, San Diego; Mrs. Melva Anderson, Richland, Wash.; Mrs. LaVern Harris, Layton; Mrs. Vera Hadlock, South Carolina; Miss Ruby Norr, Honolulu, T.H., and Mrs. Dorothy Davies, Salt Lake City; 18 grandchildren; one brother, George Clark, Salt Lake City and five sisters, Mrs. Eva C. Wilcox, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Mary C. Barrus, Logan; Louise Clark, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ellen C. Henderson, Brigham City and Mrs. Lera C. Maughan, Bountiful.

    Bishop Preston Heiner will officiate at the funeral services.

    Friends may call at 36 East Seventh South St. Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the family home Monday from 9 a.m. until time of services.

    Burial will be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
