He m.2) in LDS Temple, Logan, Cache, Utah, 24 Nov. 1886, Ann Elizabeth Waldron, dau. of Gillespie Walter and Ann (Dewhurst) Waldron, b. in Richville, Morgan, Utah, 31 Aug. 1862, d. in Roy, Weber, Utah, 22 Sept. 1936 (2).

Charles attended BYU and taught there for several years. He ran a flour mill in Morgan, Utah, for 17 years. In the fall of 1900 his first wife, Mary, moved with her children to Salt lake City where she studied to become a midwife. In the spring the family moved to Georgetown, Idaho. For years the Clarks wintered their cattle in Farmington, Utah, and summered them on the open range between Georgetown and Soda Springs.

Charles sent all of his children to school and some of them on missions; he filled two mission himself to the Southern States. He was in the bishopric for about 15 years. (1,3)
