CLARK 8

G: Then he didn't visit as often up to Georgetown after Walter got old enough to run the Georgetown operation?

C: That is right.

G: Do you remember how often he used to go up after Walter got older?

C: No I don't know how often. Father was in politics. He was a commissioner for years, and he was an officer in communities. He was on the go all the time. We would never know where he would go to all the time. Of course, if he went to Idaho he would be gone a day or two.

G: So you're saying you're not at all aware of his later visiting schedule to Georgetown.

C: No, I'm not.

G: Did he continue to always drive the cattle up in spring and go get them in fall?

C: I don't know for how long, but I know I've heard them tell about their driving them back and forth and their experiences on the way.

C: I told you why he entered polygamy. No, my father and mother never talked much to the family about the polygamy or our relationship between the two families and the two women. As far as the information I would ever get would be just observation. I know I've never heard either of them say anything that wasn't the best about the other.

G: How was the inheritance taken care of at your father's death?

C: Tha was taken care of before he died. He had everything willed. That which was in Idaho in Georgetown went to that family. That was divided. Aunt Alice had a certain piece of land, and the children each had a certain piece of land. I know that just before my father died I was really the administrator down here. My father said,
