Bonita (Bonnie) Ruth Callister Clark

Bonita (Bonnie) Ruth Callister Clark, age 62, died February 8, 1987, in a local hospital, after an eight year battle with cancer. 

Born July 19, 1924, in Salt Lake City to Norval Eddington and Ada Mae Hemsley Callister. She graduated from South High School in 1942. She later moved to Southern California to further her career in drama. There she met and married David G. Clark, February 28, 1959, in the Los Angeles L.D.S. Temple. She served as the Mission President's companion for the L.D.S. Church in Guatemala - El Salvador from 1967 to 1970. She was active in the L.D.S. Church, serving in various positions in the Relief Society, Young Woman's Association, and Primary. 

Survived by her husband; sons, David C., Fremont, California; John R., Salt Lake City; daughters, Mrs. Douglas A. (Julie) Himstreet, St. George, Utah; Mrs. Kenneth G. (Carole) Brown, Trabuco Canyon, California; ten grandchildren; brother, Robert Callister, Los Vegas, Nevada; sister, Louise Verdel, of California. She was very devoted to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed and remembered by them. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 1987, at 12:00 noon, in the Federal Heights Ward, 1300 Fairfax Road. Friends may call Tuesday evening 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple and Wednesday at the Ward one hour prior to the service. Interment in the Farmington City Cemetery.
