Interviewer: What year did you leave Oregon?
Orson Clark: '62. We went up in '51 and came back in '62.
Interviewer: What caused you to sell out in '62 and come back here?
Orson Clark: We had a little help with the kids, you see. They were all gone. I was alone at it.
Lucille Clark: Our family was down here and we were up there alone.
Interviewer: All your children moved back down here?
Orson Clark: They came down to go to school and go on missions.
Lucille Clark: And they got married.
Interviewer: They got married here?
Orson Clark: Yes, they all went through college and the three boys went on missions while we were there.
Interviewer: What schools did they go to?
Orson Clark: Utah State and BYU.
Interviewer: What did they finally major in?
Orson Clark: Agriculture and Horticulture.
Lucille Clark: All three of them.
Interviewer: Are they all three in farming now?
Orson Clark: Not farming but in plant growth. The oldest one is the agriculture inspector for Weber County. The second one works with the government on research work.
Lucille Clark: He has his Doctor's degree.
Ruth Knowlton: He's an agronomist.
Interviewer: Does he work for the Department of Agriculture?
Orson Clark: Yes, in the college.
Interviewer: He lives in Logan doesn't he?
Orson Clark: No, he lives in Lincoln, Nebraska.
