Sunday, March 6, 1904

Sunday school as usual. Acted as teacher in Wiscombe's [lace. We are studying the doctrines of Church. TestimonyMeeting. Went to Sisiter Van's to dinner also Elder Young and Sr. Knell, Sr. Holiday, Tomlinson and Amelia Hooper were alto there. Elder Hepworth & Herrick spoke at night. I walked home with Aunt Mary Douglass and had a long talk with her. Also ate ice cream.

Retracted with Elder Jenkins. Took t. as usual. Did not go out at night.

Tuesday, March 8, 1904

Went out visiting investigators' with Elder Wright.Mutual at night. Presided. Alice Hopper was put in as secretary. 

Wednesday, March 9, 1904 Rain

Retracted utith Elder lenkins. Called on Sister Mansel in returning. She is taking care of a little child. Its mother left it and the father hired Sister M. to take care of it ($10 a month). ln the evening I went out to Sister Anderson's with Elder Herrick where we ate supper and spent the evening.

Thursday, March 10, 1904

Visited sister McAlvin and Snowdon with Elder Jenkins. Had a long gospel talk with their friend. Meeting at night.

Friday, March 11, 1904

Elder Barnes parents and little brother arrived today (morning). Elder Herrick bid us goodby this morning as he left on the 9train for home. In the afternoon went out to Cliff House with Elder Jenkins. The air was cold after the great storm we have had and waves were high.

Saturday, March 12,, 1904

Elder Hoggan has served this week in the kitchen. Went to Pres. Swanson's to supper, 210 Willow Ave. with Elder Jenkins. He had the toothache so came home just before supper was ready. Went down to Post and Kearney to hold street meeting but no other Elder came. On my road home met Hoggan & Wright and went with them to call on Bro. Humphries who is sick (916 Howard).

Sunday, Mar 13, 1904

Went to Sunday School taught my class as usual. Elder Hoggan & I spoke in 11:30 meeting. Bro. and Sister Barnes were present. Elder Hoggan, Whitehead, & I went to Hoopers to dinner. After coming back went to call on a friend of Mrs. Barnes, 1441 Polk St. Mr. Mann a Florist. Bro Barnes spoke at night meeting. I had an argument with Mr. McFee after meeting.

Tracted today with Elder Wright. Street meeting as at night. Hepworth, Hoggan, Wright & I went to Post and Kearney and left Barnes & Whitehead on 6th and Market. Spoke. After meeting went and I took t.

Tuesday, March 16, 1904 Rain

Elder Browning arrived from Los Angeles this morning. Received a letter from Sister Rogers at Pacific Grove where she has spent the winter with Leone. Labored with Elder Hoggan. Visited Mrs, Young, 12 Page St. Bro Tucker has lagriffe. We administered to him and he was. better before we left. Went from there to Bro. Cavinaugh's where we ate supper and visited. Called to Hoopers a little while on our return home.

Thursday, March 17, 1904 Rain

Wisited Sr. Rattenbury with Elder Hoggan. Good testimony meeting at night. Bro Barnes and wife were present. They start for home in the morning so bid a goodby tonight. 

Friday, March 18, 1904

Went out tracking alone. Was invited in and had a long conversation with a Doctor who was very favorably impressed. Called in Musser's in coming home and ate supper with them.

Saturday, March 19, 1904 Rain

Street meeting at night. Spoke. Was invited out to spend evening at Sr. Anderson's with Whitehead and others but did not go.
